Derrick became deaf when he was 3 years old. He was not drafted out of UCLA in 2012, but made the cut after the fourth preseason game for the Seahawks and has become their fullback, playing in 12 games this year. The Seattle Seahawks will face off against their division rivals, the SF 49ers in Seattle on Sunday and the winner goes to the Super Bowl.
